I'm happy to say that we are getting ready to leave for the 2011 Israel Tour.
We have 16 ladies going this year on the All Womens Tour and I'm sure that we will
have a blessed time.  I just hope that our guide and bus driver are able to keep up.

We will be visiting a few different places this year.  We will be going up on the Lebanon
border to Rosh Hanikra and we are also going to try to make it to Safat.  It will be a
wonderful time.  I'm so looking forward to helping the first timers to have a fabulous
trip.

Please pray for us as we travel.  We will be leaving January 7 and will be returning on
January 23.  I've been watching the weather here and am hopeful that all of the snow
and bitter cold will be behind us until we are on our way.  Please pray that we have
warm dry weather while we are there.

I'll report when we return, in the meantime, why don't you think about joining us in 2012

If you are visiting this site, then I'm sure that you have an interest in Israel and the
Jewish people.   The Bible says "I will bless them that bless thee and curse them
that curseth thee".
The Jewish people are God's chosen people.  They have withstood the test of time.
However, it has not been without suffering.  When I think of the suffering that they
have endured my mind turns to Gilad Shalit.  Gilad was a 19 year old IDF soldier that
was taken into captivity on June 25, 2006.  For over 4 years now Gilad has no doubt
suffered greatly and all of Israel suffers with him, most of all his family.
Following is a link to a video and song for Gilad from his mothers perspective.
As you watch this, please stop to take a few minutes to pray for Gilad and Pray for
The Peace of Jerusalem.

We have returned once again from our annual Holyland Tour.  What a wonderful time.

We had 27 travelers this year.  Eight from West Virginia, one from Ohio, eleven from Virginia one from Norh Carolina, three from Texas and three from Wisconsin.  A great time was had by all.

We were very blessed again this year with the weather that we had.  There were very few days that I even put a jacket on.  It was sunny and warm most of the time.

The first night that we were at the Sea of Galiliee, we were standing and looking out over the Sea. The water is so low because Israel has had six years of drought.  We were praying for rain.
Trina started singing "Let it Rain".  We all joined in...

Only a few days later the rains started.  It rained so hard that the Sea of Galilee water level rose by fifteen inches.  Praise the Lord.  Fortunately for us, we seemed to be traveling ahead of the rain.
There was only one day that we were rained on.  What a blessing.

Hal spent the time up North riding a bike on the Golan Heights.  He spent four days riding through the Golan and seeing sights that we will never be able to see on the bus.  He had a great time and took lots of picures.  Hal has posted a lot of his pictures on Facebook.
